WhatsApp working on new Group Polls feature in groups
WhatsApp had recently rolled out ‘Camera UI changes’ and a ‘new Interface for voice calls’ for beta iOS users in its previous updates. After these minor additions the platform is reportedly working on new big features. Based on the latest information released by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is finally developing a new feature that would allow you to create polls within WhatsApp group chats.
This poll will help you to survey group members quickly and easily. As WhatsApp is one of the most widely used messaging app, the polling feature will prove to be very useful. The leading WhatsApp news portal has also shared the screenshot of this feature. In the screenshot you can see that WhatsApp will ask to enter a question for the poll to send in a WhatsApp group.
You can also list down the choices on which the group members will be able to vote. So when this feature is available you can ask a question in which other people can vote their answers. The report has further mentioned that the polls feature will only be available in WhatsApp groups and it will also be end to end encrypted including your answers. This means that only the group members will be able to see the poll and the result.
As this feature is currently under development process it is not possible to create polls right now. There is no other information available regarding this feature at present. There will be news if there is any announcement regarding new development and availability of this feature.
