WhatsApp is again rolling out the ability to pause and resume voice recordings feature for beta Android users. The platform has submitted this update through the Google Play Beta Program with this update the version reaches up to 2.22.8.4. This update brings reference to the same pause and resumes feature for voice recordings that were previously rolled out but again disabled for some unknown reasons.

As you all know the WhatsApp developers team continuously works briskly to improve this multi-platform instant messaging service. With the introduction of this latest beta version, the application is again enabling the ability to pause and resume voice recordings feature for Android beta testers.

WhatsApp re-enabling the pause and resume feature

The Instant Messaging App had released WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.6.7 update exactly three weeks ago which enabled you to pause and resume your voice notes. But WhatsApp had disabled this feature for everyone in a previous WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.8.3 update for some unknown reasons.

However, the same update also introduced the ‘Message Reaction’ feature to some select Android beta testers. According to the reports now it is confirmed that you will get the same feature after installing the recent WhatsApp beta for the Android 2.22.8.4 update. The leading WhatsApp news portal has released a Gif image of the feature for you to examine it.

According to the latest report of WABetaInfo, the platform is also disabling one more feature. The beta version of the WhatsApp feature was introduced with the 2.22.5.11 release, in which the platform presents a new way to view previews of images and videos shared as documents.

But this current beta version of WhatsApp has been mystically disabled by the platform. The report adds that the document preview was broken after this feature was introduced, thus it did not appear to work for users. So this might be the reason WhatsApp has decided to remove the feature temporarily.

However, these functionalities are still in the testing phase so there is no information available on when it will be back for all users in a stable version of the messaging app. You will get information as soon as it is made available in a future update.
