WhatsApp has been recently rolling out a lot of new features. As one of the most in demand instant messaging app it is regularly undergoing updates. Last week it announced new features for WhatsApp desktop beta and released some information for Android and iOS regarding some changes available in coming weeks.

The platform released WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.4.9 update, in which it is reportedly working on an introduction for community which will enable you to add all your managed groups under one roof.

Another information released this week was about media visibility. It is reported that in future the platform is planning to turn off media visibility when disappearing messages are turned on.

The best news reported this week is about a change in the feature to delete messages for everyone. The platform is planning to set a new time limit for this feature, from 7 days and 8 minutes to 2 days and 12 hours. Adding to it, you will also be able to delete any group message in future.

There are two releases for desktop beta users this week . First one is the ability to request your account info right within the web/desktop client which will be available to you at a later date. Second is the Global audio player which will enable you to switch between conversations while the audio plays.

There is only one news about iOS. WhatsApp is developing a redesigned caption view for iPhone users while sending media in a conversation available in a future update.
