WhatsApp is working on a new ‘create orders’ feature for WhatsApp business accounts. The platform has submitted this update through the Google Play beta program this update brings the version up to 2.22.9.12. In this update, the platform is reportedly developing a feature that lets business account users create business orders for their customers.
This update is reported to be available in a future update of the app. WhatsApp has been developing new tools for businesses for quite sometime back. Recently it has rolled out several new features for the business platform. WhatsApp new Create business orders for Business
In a previous WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.9.11 update the independent WhatsApp news portal WABetaInfo, reported a new chat shortcut that helps users quickly create orders for customers. The report mentioned that being a business feature this update will only be available to WhatsApp business accounts.
This current beta update brings details about the section where you can finally create the order in the future. In the available preview of the feature shared by the WhatsApp news tracker, you can see that this new feature will be available through the ‘order’ shortcut. The business users will be able to create new orders after tapping the chat shortcut.
You can add the items from the Whatsapp catalog that you want to sell to customers right within the chat. The report also mentions that while adding the new items you can also specify the quantity of the included product and WhatsApp will automatically calculate the sub-total and send the order to the open chat from where the procedure was started.
However, the new creation order feature is said to be under internal testing at present but still the reports have revealed these spotted references about it in this beta release. More details regarding this shortcut are not known yet.
