Using stickers while chatting on WhatsApp has become a common thing these days. They not only make your conversation fun but also help in showing expressions in a better way. Usually people resort to third party apps to create WhatsApp stickers, but do you know that now WhatsApp stickers can be created without any extra app?
Which devices are supported
This in-built sticker maker feature of WhatsApp is currently available only on WhatsApp Web and desktop versions. That is, if you are using WhatsApp on your phone, then this feature will not be available there. But don’t worry! Once you have created stickers on desktop or laptop, you can use them on the phone as well.
How to create stickers on WhatsApp without app
1. Open WhatsApp Web or desktop app
First of all, open WhatsApp Web on your laptop or computer or install the desktop version of WhatsApp.
2. Open your chat
Now open the contact or group chat to whom you want to send the sticker.
3. Click on the sticker icon
Click on the emoji icon in the chatbox and then select the sticker tab. Here you will see an option named ‘Create’.
4. Upload your image
Now you can upload any image of your choice, which you want to convert into a sticker. This image can be in JPEG, PNG or WebP format.
5. Edit the sticker
WhatsApp gives you several tools to customize the sticker, such as:
Crop – you can crop the image to your liking.
Emoji – you can add different emojis to the sticker.
Text – you can add fun text to the sticker.
Doodle – you can even draw something yourself on the sticker.
6. Save and send the sticker
When your sticker is ready, just press the send button. This sticker will be automatically saved to your sticker collection, so you can use it again and again.
