Nowadays most of our digital data is stored in chatting apps and Telegram is one of the most powerful and reliable platforms among them. Especially when it comes to high-quality photos, videos and files, Telegram leaves other apps behind. But have you ever wondered what happens if this data gets accidentally deleted?
Why Telegram Backup is Needed
Now you might be thinking, “Well, Telegram is cloud based, so why is backup needed?” The simple answer is – control. Telegram data is stored on the server, but if you have turned off Save to Gallery or Auto Download, or left a group or channel, your data might disappear. Also, if the phone is formatted, your local files will disappear.
That’s why it’s important to backup – so that your favourite photos, important documents and old videos will always be with you, no matter what happens.
