Xiaomi fans, there’s some fantastic news! The highly anticipated Xiaomi Pad 7 series is preparing for a global debut following its successful launch in China alongside the Xiaomi 15 flagship series in October. Adding to the excitement, a new Redmi phone has been detected in European certification lists, indicating an impending release.

Global Certification

The Xiaomi Pad 7 series recently achieved SIRIM certification in Malaysia, following its previous presence on Singapore’s SDPPI platform.

  • The standard Xiaomi Pad 7 has the model number 2410CRP4CG, whilst the Pro model is recognized as 24091RPADG. The letter “G” at the end plainly shows that these are global versions.
  • Both versions are classified under the ‘Tablet-PC’ category, indicating that they will soon be available in international markets.
  • While the certification does not disclose particular hardware information, it is expected that the global variations will have the same characteristics as their Chinese counterparts.

Key Specifications

Processor Power: The regular Pad 7 uses the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, whilst the Pro model has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for improved performance.
Immersive Display: Both models have an 11.2-inch 3.2K display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision compatibility, ideal for gaming and streaming.
Battery and Charging: Both tablets have a powerful 8,850mAh battery, with the vanilla model supporting 45W fast charging and the Pro variation having 67W fast charging.
Pricing: The Xiaomi Pad 7 is priced at CNY 1,999 (about. ₹23,400), while the Pro model starts at CNY 2,499 (approx. ₹29,300).

India Launch

The Xiaomi Pad 7 has suddenly appeared on the BIS certification list, although only the vanilla model is scheduled to ship in India. If history is any guide (remember, the Pad 6 Pro did not reach it to India), the Pro edition may avoid the Indian market.
