Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 Update Rollout Plans
Xiaomi has confirmed a strong rollout plan for HyperOS 3. The company teased the update as faster, smarter, and seamless. It is based on Android 16 software technology. The Xiaomi 17 series shipped first with this software. The update began rolling out first in China earlier.
Xiaomi started rolling out the update in October globally. Several new devices already carry HyperOS 3 preinstalled. These include the Xiaomi 15T Pro and Xiaomi 15T. The Watch S4 and Smart Band 10 also feature it. More smartphones joined the list through October and November.
These models received the update during that period:
- Xiaomi 15 series models
- Mix Flip foldable smartphone
- Redmi Note 14 series phones
- Poco F7 and Poco X7 series
- Pad Mini and Pad Mini 7 tablets
More models will gain the update by November and December. These include the Xiaomi 14 series smartphones.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro will also receive it. Redmi 15 and Redmi 14C are also included. Xiaomi plans upgrades for older devices too.
Older phones like the Xiaomi 13 series remain supported. The Redmi Pad Pro 5G will also receive the update. Xiaomi aims to finish updates for these older models by March 2026.
The company is now preparing stable builds for older global devices. Three important models are now under internal testing.
These models include Xiaomi 12T Pro, Poco F5, and Poco F5 Pro. They were released between 2022 and 2023 internationally.
Testing builds vary depending on device region settings. The Xiaomi 12T Pro uses build OS3.0.0.1.VLFMIXM. The Poco F5 Pro uses region-specific builds as well. The Russian and Turkish builds differ slightly.
These phones have Chinese counterparts with different branding. Those versions will receive the update slightly earlier.
