The highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 is making waves in the tech industry! Following its emergence on the BIS certification site, which indicated at an India launch, the worldwide model of Xiaomi’s new flagship has now been discovered on the FCC certification platform. This is a clear indicator that the global debut could be closer than ever.
Xiaomi 15’s FCC
The Xiaomi 15 was recently discovered on the FCC certification site under the model number 24129PN74G, which corresponds exactly to the India-specific model number 24129PN74I mentioned on BIS. What’s the difference? The “I” refers for India, and the “G” denotes the global version.
According to the description, the global edition would come with two storage options: 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.
Xiaomi 15 Global Variant
Interestingly, while the Chinese iteration of the Xiaomi 15 has up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, the worldwide variant will run HyperOS 2.0, much like the Chinese version. It will also allow wireless charging, which is similar to the version that was unveiled in China.
Although no other information was provided in the FCC filing, the global launch appears to be soon, especially given that the gadget has already been found on Geekbench following its debut in China. The starting price in China is CNY 4,499 (approx. ₹52,400).
