The report adds that when this reminder will be available, it will show a green dot in the help section of WhatsApp Settings. This will notify the users that there is something new for them. The report also shared a screenshot of the latest WhatsApp for Android beta version.

In the screenshot, you can see that after opening the help section of WhatsApp settings, you will be able to see a new page called “yearly reminder of your terms and Service”. The report mentions that this will redirect you to a specific page of the app’s Terms and Services.

Notably, the Instant Messaging app does not have any plan to update there Terms and Services. It is just a simple reminder that there are no changes in the privacy of your messages and safety features. Your messages still remain end-to-end encrypted. Moreover, to keep you safe, it also explains what is permitted and the platform’s response to abuse.

However, the report adds that this new reminder will be visible only to Indian users in Compliance with India’s Information Technology Rules 2021. As the yearly reminder for the Terms of Service of the app is under development, the action is currently not visible in WhatsApp settings. For more updates on WhatsApp news keep following us.
