Share status updates on Facebook
In a previous article, the WhatsApp news portal already announced about Status updates feature which was then under development process. The report mentioned that earlier to share status updates on Facebook, users had to go through an extra step of manually sharing it.
But after WhatsApp beta for Android 126.96.36.199 update the process will be automatic when the user manually enables the option from within the app settings. In this current beta update, the feature is finally released to some beta testers for testing.
In the released screenshot you can see that if a new Facebook option is visible to you directly within the status privacy settings, know that the ability to share status updates to the Facebook feature has been enabled for your account. The report further mentions that this new feature will be useful for those, who regularly post their status updates to Facebook stories.
However, you still have control over which and with whom the status updates are shared. A similar feature to this was already there in the past which prompted users to share status updates each time. This feature makes the process automatic and seamless saving users time.
Notably sharing status updates to the Facebook feature is optional and disabled by default. This means you are in control of sharing your status updates with your favorite audience.
As mentioned earlier, the feature is currently available only to a few beta testers. To get this feature to install the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.9 22 updates from the Google Play Store. Those who still don’t see this feature will have to wait for a few days as the company will be rolling it out to more people over the coming days.
