WhatsApp is rolling out the ability to pause and resume voice recordings feature for beta Android users. The update has been submitted through the Google Play beta Program with this update the version reaches to 2.22.6.7. According to the reports this new update enables you to stop and restart your voice recordings while recording a voice note.
It is already known that WhatsApp has been working on voice feature from previous few months. The platform is working to upgrade voice feature to enhance the users experience on the app. In this latest beta update the platform is finally releasing the ability to Pause and Resume voice recordings while you record a voice note.
WhatsApp rolling out new pause and resume for voice recording
In a previous update the Instant Messaging Application rolled out the ability to stop and restart voice recordings for WhatsApp Desktop users and WhatsApp iPhone users. The platform made no announcements for the availability of this feature on Android devices then. In this current beta update the popular messaging platform has reportedly made this feature available for Android beta testers too.
After the roll out of this feature those beta testers who could already see voice waveforms while recording voice note can now finally also pause them.
WABetaInfo has released a video of the feature in its report. In the available video you can see that the WhatsApp developers team has added a new pause button in this beta update. Previously it was only possible to stop recording the voice note. Now after the introduction of this new pause button you can easily pause the recording. You can also resume the recording the voice note just tapping the resume button.
According to the WhatsApp new reporter the feature has rolled this feature only for selected beta testers at present. You can also avail this feature by installing the new WhatsApp Business beta for Android 2.22.6.7 update. If you can not see the new pause and resume voice recording feature while recording voice notes after installing the latest version also please wait for a future update.
