WhatsApp is rolling out message reactions to more beta Android users. The platform has submitted this update through the Google Play beta program with this update the version reaches up to 2.22.9.4. This update brings possibilities that you can now react to messages. News on the ability to react to messages has been around for a while.

You already know that the popular messenger and chat support software is rolling out the feature step by step to beta testers. Since the feature was first announced, the platform has been developing it bringing more improvements. In this current update, WhatsApp is rolling out message reactions to more Android Beta testers for testing. Know more about this update in this article.

More beta testers getting message reactions feature

After installing the previous WhatsApp beta for Android update, some people could already send reactions to WhatsApp messages. According to the reports, this update was just a quick test available to only a few people and the ability to react to messages was disabled just after some days.

As per reports of the leading WhatsApp news tracker WABetaInfo, the platform is rolling out the same feature again in this update. To check if the feature is already enabled in your WhatsApp account, long press a message. If message reactions are available to your account a reaction bar will pop up at the top of the message that you want to react to.

For those who don’t know you will get to choose between 6 different emojis for reacting – Like, Love, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Thanks. Notably, you can react with only one of the available emojis. The feature also lets you see who reacted to any specific message just by tapping the emoji reaction.

However, as WhatsApp is enabling this feature gradually the process seems to be a bit slow. At present only a few select beta testers can react to messages. If you are unable to react to messages after installing the current version it just means that message reactions are yet not ready for your WhatsApp account.

Although the feature is available only to some specific testers at this moment, more activations are in the line on coming updates. For all the latest news on upcoming new features and developments of WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, Web/Desktop, and Windows, keep following us.
