WhatsApp is rolling out the Detailed Reaction Info feature for beta Android users. The platform has submitted this update through the Google Play beta program with this update, the version reaches up to 2.22.12.14. In this update, the platform is reportedly adding a feature that would allow users to view reaction info in detail for automatic albums.

The Meta-owned WhatsApp has introduced the much-awaited reaction feature a month ago. You all must be knowing that the feature allows you to react to any message with any one of the available six emojis. In this current beta update, the platform is expanding this same feature.

Just a few days back the leading WhatsApp news tracker WABetaInfo reported about the new under-development feature for the WhatsApp beta iOS version. According to the reports the feature is already available to those users who install the latest iOS beta app.

This update has been submitted through the TestFlight beta program a few hours ago. The current update brings some reference to the same feature for WhatsApp beta Android users. The news tracker mentions that with this update the feature has also been made available to some specific beta testers.

As seen in the screenshot released by the WhatsApp news portal, in the old version when somebody reacted to any media file message until you open the automatic album it was not possible to understand which media has received the reaction. But in the new version, you can finally view the details of the reaction info.

Detailed Reactions info for Android

Now the beta users will be able to see a media thumbnail within the reaction info screen so that they can understand which media in the album has received a reaction and with what emoji. As mentioned earlier this feature is already available to iOS beta testers.

As per the reports, the instant messaging platform is currently rolling out the feature only to certain beta testers but more activations are on the line in the coming weeks. Those who don’t see the changes even after installing the latest update please wait for the next few weeks.

The report further mentions that WhatsApp beta iOS users can expect the feature to be enabled soon in a new update. To receive this feature update your device to the latest version of the app as the platform is gradually rolling it out to more beta testers.
