WhatsApp is working on a new desktop app for macOS. Just after releasing the WhatsApp beta for windows on Microsoft store few days back the instant messaging app is now ready with this new update. According to the report of WABetaInfo when this app is available you will be able to link your WhatsApp beta Android or iOS device to WhatsApp for macOS.
For those who don’t know, macOS is a Unix operating system which is developed and marketed by Apple Inc since 2001. It is also the primary OS for Apple’s Mac computers. WhatsApp developing desktop app for Apple’s macOS
As per the report, last year it was announced that WhatsApp beta for Windows, which is a rewritten app from scratch already supports multi device. Though lots of features are still missing. But this project is considered to be a big project and the app is also reported to be stable.
In this latest report the news tracker has released screenshot of WhatsApp’s new development on macOS. When you will open WhatsApp for macOS, you will have to link your phone by scanning the provided QR code. This QR will be generated by WhatsApp for Mac and will be available within linked devices of WhatsApp settings.
Moreover you can also link WhatsApp for Android device to WhatsApp for macOS without switching to iOS. The report also adds that as you will be able to link an Android device to WhatsApp for Mac OS. In future WhatsApp will allow users to use WhatsApp on android and IOS simultaneously.
WABetaInfo further mentions that WhatsApp is also bringing some minor improvements in the details of the App’s user interface. These improvements will make it easier for you to use WhatsApp on your Mac. It is a native app built with Mac catalyst.
