WhatsApp Global Voice note player feature for Android users
According to a leading WhatsApp news report WhatsApp finally brings good news for beta Android users. The instant messaging app has previously rolled out the audio player feature for WhatsApp desktop beta users and then for WhatsApp beta iOS users.
Now the instant messaging app is enabling the same feature for some select WhatsApp Android Beta testers. This means that now even Android users can test this feature along with desktop and iPhone users.
Through the previous reports, it is already known that in the global voice note feature you can play voice notes even after switching to a different conversation. This enables you to send a message to another contact while the voice note received in some other chat is still playing.
To check whether the feature is activated on your WhatsApp account, play any voice message and go back to your chat list. If a new player bar shows up it means that the feature is available for your account. The report further mentions that this feature is not limited only to voice notes.
The new player will also show up in the incoming and outgoing audio files, which have recently received some changes. As mentioned earlier this feature is currently available only to certain beta testers.
