WhatsApp is rolling out the new Document sharing ETA features for all platforms. This update is available in the 2.22.8.11 version for Android and iOS users, it is available in the 22.8.0.74 update and for desktop users, it is reportedly marked compatible with the 2.2209.3 version and newer updates. According to the recent reports of WABetaInfo, the popular Global messenger is releasing a new ETA feature to bring more improvements to your document-sharing experience. The leading news portal has reportedly spotted the ability to view the estimated time of complete download and upload of a document on your device in the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android, iOS, Web, and desktop.

The report further mentions that this feature has already been released to WhatsApp desktop users last month and now the platform is releasing it to some select Android and iOS beta testers this week. The WhatsApp news reporter has also shared a screenshot of the feature.

According to the available screenshot, there will be a new ETA label in the chat bubble while uploading a document. The label can be seen under the document name. This information will help you know when a document should be fully uploaded or downloaded.

This great feature is helpful as you can send a bunch of files together and check the time of complete upload. In the meantime, you can finish your other tasks instead of waiting for the process to be completed. This feature will be especially useful to those Argentinian beta testers who can share documents up to 2GB.

However, this feature is currently released to those using beta versions of Android and IOS. As mentioned earlier it is already rolled out to all Desktop Beta Testers last month.
