The hype surrounding Vivo’s future smartphones is growing! After revealing the Vivo V40 series in August, Vivo appears to be gearing up for the release of its successor, the Vivo V50 series. Recently, numerous models in this series, including the Vivo V50e and Vivo V50, were detected on different certification platforms, implying that their India debut is imminent. BIS Certification
The Vivo V50e has been found on India’s BIS certification program with the model number V2428. While the certification reveals little about the phone’s specifications, its design definitely suggests an impending release.
Interestingly, the same model number appeared on the EEC certification earlier, supporting the notion that this smartphone is a successor to last year’s Vivo V40e.
Adding to the excitement, another Vivo model—V2427—has been posted on Thailand’s NBTC certification site, confirming its identity as the Vivo V50. This phone is intended to feature GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR connection, making it an excellent choice for a variety of users.
Expected Features
Vivo’s V-series is frequently a rebranded version of its China-only S-series, and this pattern may continue with the Vivo V50 range. The V50 series could be a renamed version of the Vivo S20, which released in China for around ₹27,000.
If Vivo follows its regular rollout patterns, the Vivo V50 series could arrive in India in early 2025. Sounds exciting, right?
Vivo Y29 4G & Y04
Vivo isn’t stopping with the V50 series. The brand is also preparing to launch two new low-cost models: the Vivo Y29 4G and the Vivo Y04.
The Vivo Y29 4G is likely to have 44W fast charging, like its predecessor, the Y28 4G. According to Geekbench, it could be powered by a Snapdragon 685 processor, 8GB of RAM, and the Android 15 operating system.
On the other hand, the Vivo Y04 may have 15W quick charging, similar to its predecessor, the Y03. Both models have passed the CQC certification process, indicating a possible launch date.
