Vivo has shared the full rollout schedule for OriginOS 6 in India. The update was first launched in China on October 10, 2025.
Now, Indian users will begin receiving it in early November. The rollout will be divided into several phases to ensure system stability and smooth functioning.

The OriginOS 6 update comes with powerful performance and stylish design changes. It is based on Android 16 and brings new technologies like Origin Smooth Engine, Ultra-core Computing, and Memory Fusion. These features together make the phone faster and multitasking easier.
Vivo says users can open albums with up to 5,000 photos within seconds. The data loading speed is now 106 percent faster than before. The software also includes dual-rendering architecture, which improves graphics and animation performance.
The redesigned interface uses a soft Spring effect, making icons and elements move naturally. New animation styles like Morphing Animations and One-Shot Animations improve visual flow.
The Light and Shadow Space, Dynamic Glow, and System Lighting add a premium feel to the interface.
Additionally, Vivo introduced the Vivo Sans font, which supports over 40 languages and gives a clean reading experience.

A major highlight of OriginOS 6 is Origin Island, a smart panel that provides live updates and shortcuts. It shows music controls, copied phone numbers with call or message options, and meeting links with a one-tap join button.
The new update also supports cross-device connectivity with Apple products, helping users connect between Android and iOS devices easily. Since global users never received OriginOS 5, this update will replace Funtouch OS 15 and create a unified Vivo software experience.
