How to use
Step 1: Open the app & grant permissions
First open the Personal Safety app on your phone. When you open it for the first time, it will ask you for some permissions – like location, contacts, call access – allow them, as only through these permissions will the app work properly.
Step 2: Add emergency contacts
Now you have to set your emergency contacts. That is, the people to whom you want to send alerts in case of an emergency.

Step 3: Turn on the emergency sharing feature
Emergency sharing is a great feature! By turning it on, you can share your location in real time.
Suppose you are traveling to a new place, and you want your location to reach your family – just turn on emergency sharing and breathe a sigh of relief.
Step 4: Use Safety Check
The Safety Check feature is very useful. You can set a time – like after 1 hour, after 30 minutes – and if you don’t respond by that time, the app sends an alert to your contacts.
This feature is especially useful when you’re out alone.
Step 5: Activate car crash detection and emergency SOS
If you drive, make sure to turn on car crash detection. It can automatically notify the police or your contacts in case of an accident.
Also activate the emergency SOS feature – this lets you make an emergency call instantly by just quickly pressing the power button.
