Have you ever felt that one of your apps is not working properly or is not getting new features? The biggest reason for this could be that you have not updated that app for a long time. Every app present on Google Play Store keeps getting updates from time to time, which makes it better – like fixing bugs, increasing speed, improving security & adding new features.
Why do we need to update apps
Imagine, you are riding an old bike and it needs a new feature – like better grip in the tyres, better brakes or a digital display. The same is true in case of mobile apps. With every update, developers make the app better, faster and safer for the user. If you don’t update the app, it may run slow, crash frequently or put your data at risk.
How to update apps
Step 1: Open Play Store
Open the Google Play Store app on your Android phone.
Step 2: Tap on the profile icon
Tap on the profile icon (your photo or name) on the top right.
Step 3: Go to Manage apps & devices
Now there will be an option “Manage apps & devices” — just tap on it.
Step 4: Check the Available updates section
Here you will see how many apps are available for update. If you want to update all apps at once, then tap on “Update all”.
