Telegram has launched a feature with the help of which you can now automatically translate messages in any language.
What About Auto Translation
Until now you used to take the help of Google Translate to understand the message, now Telegram will do that work automatically. Telegram has provided an inbuilt message translation feature in its app, through which you can translate the message in any language into your preferred language – and that too without leaving the app.
This will make it easier to communicate in international channels & groups. Whether you speak in English or in a foreign language, language will no longer be a wall between you and the message.
How to do automatic translation
1. Open Telegram settings
First of all open the Telegram app on your mobile and tap on the ‘Settings’ icon given below.
2. Select the language related settings
Now go to ‘Settings’ and click on the language option.
3. Turn on ‘Show Translate Button’
Here you will see an option – ‘Show Translate Button’, turn it on. After this, Telegram will start showing the ‘Translate’ button in front of any foreign language message.
4. Set your language
Here you can also decide which language not to translate. For example, if you know English well, you can skip English.
5. Use the translation button
Now whenever a message comes in another language, you will see the translate option below it. Tap on it and the translated message will appear immediately.
