With this update the platform is helping to protect your content that you published on Telegram’s platform and it also ensures that the content is available only to your intended audience. Delete Messages from Specific Dates

Now telegram gives you complete control over your digital footprint and you can delete any of your messages from a conversation at any time. This update brings you the ability to clear chat history from any particular day or date range in any individual chat. For this you have to open the calendar by tapping the date bar that pop up when you scroll through the chat, then select the days you want to clear chat from.

This feature currently works in one to one chats only but you can set ‘auto-delete’ for any chat to delete messages after sending them and select time duration of one day, week or even month. The Delete Messages from Specific Dates is the seconds features of Telegram 10 new features.

Manage your Connected Devices

Now Telegram can be used at the same time on all your devices. The ‘Devices’ menu help you to control all your logged in Accounts. Additionally the platform has given a new button to link a desktop device quickly. New setting has also been introduced to logout inactive devices automatically after some time.

Posting Anonymously in Public Groups

Now in Telegram Anonymous posts in public groups appear as Channels while you send message in the selected group chat. You can use this by tapping on your profile picture next to the message bar and selecting any particular channel. After that the message you sent will appear with the channel’s name and photo instead of your personal account. When you post as a channel, you will also be able to see the channel’s name on top of your message bubbles.

New ways to Login through Call

Other new feature Telegram has introduced is new ways to login via call. This feature includes entering a code sent via SMS after which following login codes are sent to device in which telegram is logged in. Telegram will offer one mobile device an option to receive a login call from the platform and then enter last five digits of the phone number that called in place of getting codes via text message.

Responses to Join group requests

In this new Telegram feature you will be able to see the community or group name at the top of the chat, When you send a request to join particular group or channel and the group admin responds with a message. Bots admins can now contact users who sent a request to join chat, even if the user has not communicated with the bot earlier. This brings endless possibilities like accepting rules of a group chat before joining, passing admission test or donating to the creators of a group.

Telegrams this new feature brings Text Recognition (Live text) on IOS 13+ devices. In this feature you can quickly select, copy and search the photos in Telegram chats without touching your keyboard.
