Screen recording has become a must these days not just for creating gaming videos or tutorials but for everything from online meetings to class recordings. And when it comes to Infinix smartphones, this task becomes even easier. But there is one problem that many people face – the screen gets recorded but the sound does not.
Where to find the screen recording option
Infinix smartphones have a screen recording option built in, and it is made available through the XOS UI. You can easily access it from the phone’s quick settings panel. This feature lets you capture everything that happens on the screen on video — and if you turn on the mic, your voice will be recorded as well.
How to turn it on
Step 1: Open the Quick Settings panel
First of all, swipe your phone’s screen from top to bottom. This will open the Quick Settings in front of you. Find the icon of “Screen Recorder” here.
Step 2: Press and hold the Screen Recorder icon
As soon as you press this icon for a long time, a settings popup will open in which you will get many options. From here you can customize the settings of screen recording.
Step 3: Turn on the mic option
In the popup, you will see the option of “Audio Source” or “Sound Settings”. Go there and select “Microphone”. This will also record your voice in the screen recording.
Step 4: Start recording
Now just tap on “Start” and your voice will start recording along with your screen. Whenever you want, you can stop the recording by going from the notification bar.
