Following the successful debut of the Redmi Turbo 4 earlier this month, excitement is rising for the impending Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. If the standard model had a MediaTek CPU, the Pro edition is said to have an even more powerful Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset.

Along with this powerful processor, the phone is rumored to have a large battery. In a surprise twist, it could be released globally as the POCO F7.

Processor

According to Digital Chat Station (DCS), a reliable Weibo source, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will be paired with the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset (model number S8735). This next processor is expected to have a clock speed of up to 3.21GHz when paired with an Adreno 825 GPU, making it a performance beast.

Battery

The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is also expected to feature a large 7,000+ mAh battery. Previous rumors stated it may be as large as a 7,500mAh cell, capable of 90W charging and delivering an enormous amount of power. The normal Turbo 4 has a 6,550mAh battery, so the Pro version will surely have more endurance.

Display

It could also have a 1.5K resolution display, which would provide sharp pictures and bright colors. In terms of style, the phone is expected to have a glass shell with a sleek metallic frame, giving it a premium appearance. This high-quality CMF (Color, Material, and Finish) design could help the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro stand out in the mid-range segment.

Launch Timeline

We may expect the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro to be released around April 2025, following the release pattern of the Turbo 3 series from last year. Interestingly, this Pro model is expected to be marketed as the POCO F7 outside of China, much as the Turbo 3 was rebranded as the POCO F6.
