Dynamic RAM Expansion is an advanced technology that uses a portion of your phone’s storage (ROM) as virtual RAM. In simple terms, it is a way to increase your phone’s actual RAM, making apps load faster and the phone run smoother.
How it works
Whenever you open a heavy app or do multitasking, your phone’s RAM fills up quickly. The DRE feature uses a portion of the storage as RAM in this case and prevents the phone from slowing down.
For example: If your phone has 4GB of RAM and the DRE feature is turned on, it can expand the RAM by an additional 3GB. That means in total you will get to experience up to 7GB of RAM!
How to turn on dynamic RAM expansion
