After announcing the Ace smartphone last month, OnePlus is now ready with ‘OnePlus Ace speed edition’ which is reported to be more affordable for the common public. According to the news sources the company will be launching this latest edition on 17th of May. The GSM Arena has also Confirmed about this debut.
According to the announcements made by weibo this launch will be in China first. This was already expected because Ace is exposed to its home market. However the reports also mention that the company may also launch the smartphone overseas in future under a new name. Details of OnePlus Ace speed edition
As seen in the available image of the phone the fingerprint scanner is placed on the side so it can be assumed that this phone will have an LCD. In this image you can also see a speaker grille, a USB-C port, microphone and a 3.5 mm audio jack placed on the bottom.
As per the report the camera design is modeled after the OnePlus 10 Pro. It has triple rear cameras which includes a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide camera and 2MP macro camera. This also has a 16MP front facing camera and an LED flash. The 2MP sensor can likely be the microphone.
In more specification this smartphone is said to have 6.89 inch full HD+LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Octa Core Dimensity 8100-Max 5mm with Mali- G510 MC6 GPU. This phone will support dual SIM. It is 164.3×75.8×8.7 mm in dimension and weighs 205gm. It also has 5000 mAh battery with 65w fast charging capacity.
This phone is said to be available in grey and blue colors at present. As it is yet to be launched so the exact price is not confirmed in India but it is assumed to be between Rs. 27343 to Rs. 33255. The OnePlus Ace speed edition, also called Ace race is already certified by TENAA.
This reveals 6.59″ diagonal screen and a 2.85 GHz CPU which is likely a part of 8000 Dimension chipset. Notably all the above mentioned specifications are rumored at present as we have no confirmations about them.
