The OnePlus Ace 5 series has finally made its way to China and for those of you who have been anticipating its release. The series offers two models, Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. OnePlus Ace Pro comes with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor while the non Pro variant of the Ace 5 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip set.
Price & Availability
Oneplus Ace 5’s starting price is CYN 2299 which is roughly 26890 INR while the Ace 5 Pro has a price tag of CYN 3399 (around 39,700 rupees).
Both models allow customisation in up to 5 variants that include a ram of 16 GB with 1 TB storage. As of now, the owners of both models can choose from colors Cyan, Black, and Titanium for Ace5 and Purple, Black, and White for Ace 5 Pro. You will be able to pre-order them as the global launch is set for January 7th, 2025.
Battery & Gaming
The Ace 5 features a battery which is the highest battery ever seen in any OnePlus device, that is 6,400mAh. Though the Pro device only has a smallish 6,100 mAh battery. The Pro model incorporates the new Fengchi Gaming Core, a novel chip-level gaming technology that enables 120 FPS at 1080p resolution.
Display & Build
Both variants have a 6.78-inch display that features LTPO AMOLED technology that allows for an adaptive refresh rate range of up to 120Hz while also getting a decent brightness level of 4500 nits along with OPPO Crystal Shield Glass.
Camera & Performance
The selfie camera is 16 MP which allows for better clarity and colors for the selfies taken on the phone. Both these phones have a 50 MP primary camera (Sony IMX906), an 8 MP ultra wide lens, and a 2 MP macro lens.
The Pro model should have great performance scores as it is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite whereas the Ace 5 has is running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
