Motorola is preparing to introduce its latest mid-range smartphone, the Moto G 5G (2025). Following the successful debut of the Moto G 5G (2024) and Moto G Power 5G earlier this year, the 2025 edition is expected to have interesting updates. Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks) has leaked 5K renderings and a 360-degree video, providing a first look at the phone’s appearance and functionality.
Design Overview
The Moto G 5G (2025) has a similar design language to its predecessor, although there are some noticeable improvements:
Flat Display and Edges: The phone’s display and edges remain sleek and flat, giving it a modern and minimalist appearance.
Redesigned Camera Module: The back panel now holds a square-shaped camera module with three sensors and an LED flash, an improvement over the 2024 version.
Classic Features: The design still has a little thick bottom bezel, a 3.5mm headphone port, and buttons on the side.
The Moto G 5G (2025) measures 167.2 x 76.4 x 8.17mm (9.6mm including the rear camera hump) and has the same 6.6-inch display as its predecessor.
Expectetion from the Moto G 5G (2025)
While precise hardware specifics for the 2025 iteration are yet unknown, it’s evident that Motorola intends to improve on the benefits of the 2024 model. A confirmed improvement is a triple-camera configuration, which may include an ultra-wide lens for more varied photography.
