Apple appears to be preparing for the upcoming iPhone 17 series, which is expected to bring about major design changes. According to sources, a new iPhone 17 Slim/Air model may also launch in addition to the standard Vanilla, Pro, and Pro Max models.

Apple may release a camera visor design like to the Google Pixel, according to alleged back panel leaks.

Back Panel

In line with other concept images and frame leaks, tipster Majin Blu recently posted a picture of the purported iPhone 17 rear panel. Similar to Google’s Pixel phones, the image displays a horizontal camera arrangement at the top edge.

Curiously, the leaked panel displays a sizable visor with a smaller hole, most likely for the LED flash, and a single camera cutout. Apple’s conventional square camera module, which was initially used with the iPhone 11 Pro series, is clearly different from this design change.

iPhone 17 Air/Slim

The back panel of the predicted iPhone 17 Slim/Air, which is anticipated to have a single 48MP camera sensor, is the subject of much conjecture. However, as the iPhone SE 4 is also believed to have a single rear camera, some people think it might be the same model.

It’s best to treat this leak with caution because Majin Blu’s source maintains that the panel is a part of the iPhone 17 series, even though the launch is still at least eight months away.

What Makes This Special

If the leaked design becomes reality, it would mark a major shift in Apple’s design language. The rounded edges and the protruding horizontal camera layout not only give the phone a modern look but also resemble Google’s Pixel series. Such a move could help Apple set its devices apart in an increasingly competitive market.

iPhone 17 series

With its new design features and potential new variants like the iPhone 17 Slim/Air, the iPhone 17 series appears set to deliver some intriguing developments. Even while these leaks are fascinating, we won’t know if Apple actually uses this Pixel-inspired camera design until official announcements are made.
