How to hide Instagram story from a specific person
There are two ways to hide a story from a specific person on Instagram – first, hiding it manually by going into the story settings and second, creating a close friends list. Let’s understand both the methods in detail.
Step 1: Open the Instagram app and go to the profile section.
Step 2: Tap the three lines (menu) on the top right and go to Settings and privacy.
Step 3: Go to Story Settings.
Step 4: Tap the “Hide Story” option.
Step 5: Select the people you want to hide your story from.
Step 6: After making the selection, click “Done.”
Use the Close Friends List
If you want to show your story only to some special friends, then you can use the Close Friends List. This will make your story visible only to those people whom you have added to your list. For this, follow the steps given below –
Step 1: Open the Instagram app and go to the profile section.
Step 2: Tap the three lines (menu) on the top right and select the Close Friends option.
Step 3: Choose the people you want to share your story with.
Step 4: Click “Done”.
