What is voice chat
Let’s first understand what this feature is. Telegram’s voice chat is a kind of audio session, which becomes a platform for live conversation for group members. In this, people can come live and say their point, listen and do real-time interaction. This feature is especially useful for community, study group or office meetings.
How to activate
1. Open the Telegram app and select your group
First of all open the Telegram app and go to the group in which you want to start a voice chat.
2. Tap on the group profile
The group name will appear at the top, tap on it. Now you will see all the information of the group.
3. Click on the three dots (menu)
Three dots will appear on the top right of the group profile. Click on it.
4. Select the Start Voice Chat option
After clicking on the dots, the option “Start Voice Chat” will appear. Tap on it.
5. Confirm voice chat settings
Now Telegram will ask you whether you want to host a voice chat from your personal profile or from the group name. Choose either one.
6. Start voice chat and invite members
Now just click on “Start Voice Chat” and your chat will go live. You can also invite other members to join.
