Why do we need to cancel our order
You might have ordered a product in a hurry and later found out that it is already available. Or maybe another site is offering a better discount on the same product. Sometimes we also order just for testing. Whatever the reason, Flipkart respects your decision and provides an easy way to cancel your order without any hassle.
How to cancel an order
Now coming to the main point. If you have ordered something from Flipkart and now want to cancel it, then follow the steps given below:
- Open the Flipkart app or website
- Log in to the account from which you placed the order
- Go to the “My Orders” section below
- Select the product you want to cancel
- Now you will see the option of “Cancel” there
- Tap on it and select the reason for cancellation
- Just click on “Confirm”
Your order will be cancelled in a few seconds and if you have already paid, then the refund will also be processed quickly.
Will I get a refund
If you have made a prepaid payment (e.g. debit card, UPI, wallet) while ordering, the refund is sent back to your same mode once the order is cancelled. Money is usually refunded within 3 to 5 working days. But if you have opted for cash on delivery, no need to worry – you haven’t paid any money!
