Make sure to mark your calendars, technology buffs! ASUS has officially confirmed the launch date for its highly anticipated Zenfone 12 Ultra. The smartphone will be introduced globally on February 6th at 14:30 GMT (8:30 PM IST).

This is an earlier release than its predecessor, the Zenfone 11 Ultra, which launched in March of last year. ASUS appears to be avoiding the tiny Zenfone design, following the precedent set by its previous generation.

Teaser

In a teaser released on X (previously Twitter), ASUS revealed that the Zenfone 12 Ultra would include AI-enhanced features, with a focus on mobile photography. The post also disclosed support for 4K video recording with additional capabilities such as focus tracking, guaranteeing a better video capture experience to users.

While the exact contents remain unknown, the teaser has undoubtedly piqued interest. ASUS is anticipated to reveal further details in the weeks running up to the launch event.

What to Expect

Though ASUS has kept the full specifications a secret, earlier leaks offer some hints. The Zenfone 12 Ultra was discovered on the Bluetooth SIG certification and IMEI database last November, sparking speculation about its potential features.

If ASUS continues its normal path, the Zenfone 12 Ultra may resemble the ROG Phone 9, which was released in November of last year. The ROG Phone 9 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU, up to 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of internal storage. We might see the Zenfone 12 Ultra with these impressive features as well.
